The Club was formed in 1980, based in sunny Budleigh Salterton and currently has 24 members, who live not only in Budleigh Salterton, but also in nearby villages. Our two adjacent clubs are Sidmouth and Exmouth.

EAC helps elderly people make informed choices about meeting their housing and care needs. It was founded in 1984 and registered as a charity in 1985. Since its early days, it has striven to deliver a first class information and advice service directly to elderly people and their relatives and carers. At the same time EAC worked to raise the awareness of other advisory agencies, professionals and policy makers of the importance people attach to information and advice which helps them make their own decisions about how and where to live in older age.
