At Pinewood we are always keen to hear from people interested in working for us. We are looking for caring people who would like to work with the elderly. Experience is not essential, and on-the-job training will be provided. In return, we offer a great working environment and good rates of pay.

We keep a record of nurses, care assistants, kitchen assistants, cooks, domestics, and maintenance people who are interested in working for us and will contact you if we have a vacancy or as soon as a vacancy arises.

Training

Here at Pinewood, we place great importance on ensuring all our staff are fully trained and confident in their roles. Every team member undertakes essential training in areas such as Manual Handling, Infection Control, and Fire Safety, with additional opportunities to gain qualifications in First Aid and Food Hygiene. This helps us maintain the highest standards of care while supporting our staff in their professional growth.

Following induction, each member of staff receives a personal appraisal and is given tailored goals for the year ahead. These may include working towards nationally recognised NVQs, ensuring that everyone has the chance to continue developing their skills and knowledge. For ancillary staff, we also provide NVQ opportunities in areas such as kitchen assisting and domestic work, helping every role within Pinewood feel valued and supported.
