At last, a moment of quiet & peace to write to you and all your staff, on behalf of myself & Matthew, to thank you for the kindness and care you have shown to our family and primarily to Ken. It was a huge decision to admit that I could
no longer look after him and a gamble as to where he should be. However, luck was on our side, and we had to decide very quickly, but finding you and your team was the best decision we could have made.
I am glad that you knew the real Ken before the illness made him into a man we did not recognise at times, so you were all able to see through the turmoil and remember the gentle & kind person he really was. We cannot speak too highly of the care you gave him and the emotional & physical support he received for that.
So, a very big Thank you to you all and we shall certainly keep in touch. We have made some good friends in Pinewood.
